

Sky+HD is the latest technological advance in TV broadcasting.
HD stands for High Definition. Programmes and events shot in HD can be transmitted via satellite and picked up by a HD decoder and displayed on a ‘HD ready’ screen. The picture quality is improved by up to five times in HD!
The Sky+HD box or decoder can be added to an existing Sky installation or will be provided when subscribing from new.
Sky now carry 37 HD channels. These include BBC HD and Channel 4 HD. See the note to the left.
The Sky+HD box has all the benefits of pausing live TV and recording programmes as well.
