Digital reception is significantly reduced in the southern half of the Island and will only improve when the analogue transmissions are switched off, due 2012. There is a postcode guide on the freeview website that may help you.

Studiophase supply, service and install analogue and digital TV aerials on the Isle of Wight.
Analogue aerials pick up the four main channels; BBC 1 & 2, ITV 1 and Channel 4.
Digital aerials receive the channels listed above and many more but as digital data that has to be decoded by either a set top box or by a digital tuner built in to the TV, this is also known as Freeview.
Most aerials on the Island point to the Rowridge transmitter between Newport and Calbourne but in some areas such as Brighstone, Ventnor, Brading they have relays for the analogue channels. Others on the north eastern end of the Island point toward Midhurst where some of the channels are in the ‘wide band’ and a few in the Cowes area use Hannington.
